The Essence 2018
For the annual exhibition our group chose "waiting" as a concept, which to base on our works. I built a rotating kebab, grilled to perfection on one side, while the other side remained raw. The idea came from the observation that whenever I stood in front of the turkish place right in front of the metro, I decided wether to get food there based on wether the meat looked nicely grilled. I never decided to have a kebab sandwich, I never waited for the meat to grill, I only ever had one when it looked just right.
